Mini Haul.........AGAIN

I'm back to work after a glorious week off, which means my bank account literally has a break down.
Working in the city is not good for my poor bank balance.
But I think I've been good so far............

My eyeshadow collection is GROWING & I needed a brown eye pallette.
 As I love that i'm-not-wearing-any-makeup-look......
But really I have layers on ssshhh!!!
&
A few people recommended MUA to me, so I decided to take the bull by the horns...... that has no relevance to this post!
Oops.
And I jumped straight into the MUA counter.
and picked up this Undress Me Palette.
It has such a great range of colours and I'm really excited to try them out!!!!

Top line Left to right- Naked, Devoation, Shy, Fiery, Lavish, Dreamy
Bottom line left to right- Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal, Wink, Obsessed & Corrupt

I also picked up this sweet little lipstick. Not realising it was only a bloody One Direction lipstick. Chuffed.

Cute!!!

I'm going to do a review on these products, sometime over the weekend, so make sure you come and check out the reviews.
Let me know if you have used these products and what you think of them?

A List...... Yes

Today
I finally broke my Essie nail polish virginity. Once again I've been a slave to Barry M and yes he's done me well over the last 2 years, but i've fallen head over heels for this gorgeous rich, vampy red polish.
I bought the colour A List and wow..........
I was pleasantly surprised on how big the brush was, being use to the small ones Barry M has given me!!!
The colour is so rich and once applied is so shiny, yes they're £7.99 a bottle but it's a bottle full of gorgeousness (that doesn't look or sound right.....but hey)

Girls if your a Barry M slave like myself, I urge you to go out and try Essie, you might just forget about Barry M for a while!!!!

Let me know if you're a Barry M or a Essie type of girl? & what colours do you recommend to try?

Pretty in Pink

It's not a secret that I love pastel colours, and as we are now into Autumn i'm still not saying farewell to them. (I'm still rocking pastel nail colours)

I've always lusted over dip dye pastel hair, but have always been to afraid to take the plunge.
I have serious hair envy over those gals, who can rock silver blonde hair with lilac and pink ends thrown in just for fun.

SO I decided to buy some hair chalk from Urban Fudge and i'm a little disappointed........

Urban Fudge are known to be great products, but I'm disappointed in this product. It made my hair knotty whilst applying it and I had to scrub the powder to get any colour onto my ends. Really disappointed because the colour looks incredible in the packaging.

I'm determined to use it again. This is just my inital reaction to it on a first time use!!

Do you guys have any recommendations for great hair chalks??

Must Haves.....

My current top 5 must have in your makeup bags!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation-
I have been a slave to Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse over the last 2 years. So when I was ready to break up this little love affair, I was advised by many Bbloggers to try Rimmel Wake Me Up and yeah...... The rest is history. It has great coverage and gives a lovely dewy look. I'm really impressed for a drug store product!!!

YSL Touche Eclat Highlighter-
This is a classic even my mother has it. This is a iconic highlighter and quite frankly I can't live without mine. Worth every penny and it's so chic!

Clinque Bottom Lash Mascara-
This little mascara is a must, for makeup bags everywhere, fits amazingly in the makeup bag and keeps your bottom lashes looking full and smudge free.

MAC Cranberry Eye Shadow-
Without the help of a MAC mua I wouldn't of even looked twice at this colour, but i'm so glad the mua did!!! This is a perfect autumn colour for my expanding MAC pallet. Such a gorgeous rich colour and perfect for that berry smokey eye!!! It's a must.

Topshop Lipstick (Wicked)-
This is my first ever Topshop lipstick..... I know where have I been right? I decided to go bold and daring with Wicked and I love love love it!!!!!

MAC Haul

Hey Lovelies,
Today the big department store Debenhams enticed me in by putting it's Mac counter in the front window.......How can a girl resist?!
So I went into Mac (unplanned) and spent a little bit to much money on some much needed items.
As we are now fully into Autumn now I wanted to bring some lovely berry reds and purples into my eye-shadow collection.
I also went on to buy some new brushes as I couldn't help myself!!

I bought these two lovely colours L- Cranberry and R- Sketch, with the help of a lovely Mac assistant!! These are going to be perfect for a Autumn smokey eye.

Macs eyeshadows are always highly pigmented and are simply gorgeous colours.
Mac eyeshadows always impress me and Mac do some stunning colours. So i'm excited to wear these out and see what reactions I get.

In Mac I also purchased Pro Longwear Paint Pot in A43 Painterly. I was recommended this by the Mac MUA, it's meant to make your shadow last longer and can be used as a highlighter under your brows etc.

& lastly I purchased the much loved eye brushed I purchased the 239 (white brush) and 224 (black brush)

My autumn smokey eye! Using all my new products!!!!

Review- Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in the colour Bad to the Bronze

Little bit late blogging about this little find.
Oh well it's here now.
I'm not one to wear  eye shadows, but recently I've really become slightly obsessed with eye shadow.

The Maybelline Colour Tattoo's are long wearing cream/gel formula that claim to last for 24 hours.
I can't guarantee that they last for 24 hours, but I have wore this eye shadow on a night out, and it has lasted, the colour has faded a bit, but was still clearly noticeable and there was no need to apply more
The eye shadow didn't creased or budge (makes life so much easier)

I found this product easier to apply with my finger than a brush. The shadow is super pigmented and when applied with a brush I felt as if I lost some of the pigmentation.

You can purchase these in most drugstores at £4.99. If you haven't tried them yet.......Then you should!!!

Have you tried these?? let me know in your comments below and if so what colours have you tried and would recommend??

Lipstick Tag

Hey Lovelies,
So Kammi over at http://beautybookblog.com/  (go check it out) has come up with another tag, this time it's the lipstick tag.
So here's my lipstick tag! Go ahead and do your own and send me link to yours so I can read it

How many lipsticks do you own?
I have about 10 all together, but only use 6 of them!! I'm really fussy with lipstick they have to be just right or I won't use them.

What was your first ever lipstick?
Oh gosh, I can't remember that far back!!! But when my mum use to put lipstick on, I always wanted her to put some on my lips as well.

What is your most worn lipstick?
My Chanel Rogue Coco Shine in the colour Monte Carlo (62). This is a lipstick a wear everyday to work, to go shopping. I just love it and highly recommend it.

What is your favourite brand for lipsticks?
Probably Chanel, love the finish on them and the colours. Always get compliments when I wear them as well. I do also like Mac Lipsticks too.

What is your favourite finish?
Matte I love a matte finish. They stay on so well on a night out as well, this is mainly the reason to why I love them. No need to keep reapplying all the time.

What was the last lip product you bought?
Topshop lipstick in the colour wicked.

How many lip products do you currently have in your handbag? Including lip balms and glosses?
Oh gosh I have a separate make up bag for my handbag and they all go in there.
So probably about 5, that includes Vaseline, Maybeline baby lips, my Bourjois color boost lip crayon, and usually two lipsticks. I have no idea why I carry so many!

What lipstick do you use to rock a red lip?
The red lip is my signature look for a night out. I can't go out without a red lip. At the moment I'm loving Maybeline Super Stay 14 hour Lipstick in the colour Ravishing Rogue (540). Always stays on at the end of the night. Just a good lipstick.

How do you store your lipsticks?
In my make up bag. Don't put them anywhere fancy. But the ones which came in a box, stay in there box.

What lip products are you currently lusting over?
Right now i'm lusting over the YSL Glossy Stain. Reasons being 1 I love Cara Delevingine and secondly I know a few people who have been raving about them. So when it's payday these are going to be my next purchase!!!!

Autumn Tag

Hey lovelies, so in this blog I will be doing my first autumn tag, on behalf of blogger Kammi! Make sure you go and check out her blog beautybookblog.com

Autumn is my favourite season when it comes to fashion and make-up. I love being able to wrap up, purchase lots of big knitted jumpers and boots, settle down in front of the fire with a hot chocolate..... Anyway I'm day dreaming now here are my answers to the questions. Enjoy!!

1. Favourite thing about Autumn?
Has to be the slight chill we get in the morning, I love walking the dog out in the cold with the leaves crunching underneath my boots.

2. Favourite Drink?
I have a thing for Appletiser at the moment. Probably not the best thing, but recently I can't get enough of the stuff. I also love apple tea though as well!!!

3. Favourite scent/candle?
I recently purchased a Yankee Candle is the scent 'Merry Marshmallow' OH-MY-GOD it is divine.  Can't wait to light it at Christmas time!!!!

4. Favourite Lipstick?
Right now I'm loving my new Topshop lipstick in the colour Wicked which I have just recently done a review on (Read here). It's a gorgeous purple and fits in perfectly with the grunge trend at the moment. I'm totally loving it at the moment

5. Go-to-moisturiser?
For my face I simply use 'Simple'  and for my body, I use Johnson baby lotion and sometimes Palmers Coco Butter. Depends on how feeling.

6. Go-to-colour for eyes?
For me it's always brown. Brown is the colour I will wear most days to work or going shopping. On nights out I like to got for a smokey eye or a berry colour on my eyes.

7. Favourite music to listen to?
This is a tricky one! I have such a wide taste in music that I couldn't possibly choose one genre of music. I love listening to One Direction to make me happy (and they're a little gorgeous), but then I love listening to the Artic monkeys, Ed Sheeran etc. I can't possibly choose.

8. Favourite outfit to wear?
Skinny jeans, shirt, blazer and loafers. cool, casual and chic.

9. Autumn treat?
Buying a new coat ready for the Winter!!! I am a huge Barbour fan and tend to treat myself to a new one every year or so. I love their classic English designs and they're so understated!! I already have my eye on a new one this year!!!

10.  Favourite place to be?
LONDON!!! I adore London, love being there so much. Love the buzz of the place!

Hope you enjoyed reading

Review: Topshop Lipstick In Wicked

Hey Lovelies,
As you know I recently delved into the beauty corner at Topshop (Read here) and I was pleasantly surprised at the range.
After that trip I went back and picked up a lipstick in the colour 'wicked' and the lipstick colour lives up to the name!!
Wicked looks a lot darker in the bullet than how it comes out so don't let that put you off. This is a perfect shade, it fits in with the grunge trend at the moment; which i'm a big fan of.
The lipstick is really moisturising, it applies really smoothly
and has good staying power, it gives your lips a lovely looking shine and full of colour.
For only £8 i'm loving it!

Asos £90.00

Tartan
This classic highland print, can be over powering, but keep it simple
 and
 chic.

PINK
Pink is a strong colour for autumn/winter.
Ditch the neon and go for a understated dusky pink!!
There are no limits to how you wear pink this season.

Masculine
It's that time again to channel the classic English gentleman look.
From blazers to trousers & investing in a
quilted jacket!!

Barbour.

Beanie Hats
I'm obsessing over beanies, everyone is wearing them.
They're cool and bang on trend with the grunge feel going on
right now.

So chic!

Even the lads are getting involved-
