Throwing it back to the old school // Converse and Juju shoes!

This week I have decided to invest in some new footwear and by accident kinda threw myself back to the 90s and early 00s.

Converse, everyone loves them, comfy, cool and reasonably priced, so I decided to purchase like my 100th pair, this time I took it back to when I was about 13 and bought my first pair which were a pink pair of high top converse- Not cool then, you usually got called a jitter when I was teen for wearing them, Strange I know! So I bought a low pair of pink ones, inspired by Tanya Burr's photo on Instagram, I couldn't resist them, cute summer trainer. Like the rest of my Converse I love them and they will be worn down to the ground. FAVE!!!!!!

Juju shoes you either love um or hate um. But me I was impartial- Shock! But until I slipped some onto my now adult feet I realised why I loved them as a child. As a child they were my go to summer shoe- you know, at the age of 6 I clearly knew about fashion, Uhhh Nah!! If you never owned a pair as a child where were you??? I always had a clear glittery pair with a little heel. But I've decided to follow the trend like a sheep and I purchased a black flat pair, less obvious that they're really meant to be for children not 23 year old women!! I'm so in love with them, the smell of plastic is a bit overwhelming but hey ho, only one negative!!

Do you guys love or hate the Juju shoes (I won't get offended) and do you remember wearing them as a child??

Topshop V Adidas

I'm  Back,
and with a slightly new obsession,
As of late I've started to become obsessed with 90's fashion again, digging out the old Reebok Classics and lusting over Calvin Klein sweaters- yeah you know the one, with the big CK on the front *retro* Right?

Well its come as a surprise that my FAVE high-street store Topshop have collaborated with Adidas and have put together some pretty 90's inspired pieces, which i'm lusting over right now.

Have you seen this new collaboration?
What do you think?

Sorbet Shades- These mouth watering colours are here to stay. Drool.

Topshop £42.00

In the Jungle- You don't have to be globe trotter, to rock the safari look.

All hail Cara!!

Queen of the runway Cara Delevingne has surprised/delighted the fashion world, by launching her own Mulberry handbag range.
*Swoon*

Alas the face of Mulberry has designed her own collection and of course, the new range is the complete opposite to the sophisticated, classic, English bags they already make.
Cara has 100% put her own style into these bags, these beautifully designed bags, have a Delevingne feel to them, edgy and chic. Included in the range we have camouflage print, backpacks and a studded lion bag (representing Caras' tattoo).

I have a feeling these bags are going to be a massive hit with Mulberry fans across the world, I'm sold already and have my eye on one particular bag.

Did you see the show?
What's your opinions on Cara's range???

#LFW 14

Hoorah,
London Fashion Week is Back!!!!
This time of year I get ridiculously excited to see the luxurious clothes, and what great ideas the designers have come up with!!
And of course I get to see my fave model of the moment
Cara Delevingne!!!!

I getting seriously hyped up for the Mulberry fashion show. Obsessed. #1 I'm a HUGE fan of Mulberry, I love their strong English heritage look. #2 I just want every bag they make, If only I had a bigger bank account.

But there is just something about Fashion week, that makes me go weak at the knees, I literally cannot get enough of it!!!

Will you be keeping an eye on Fashion Week??
Whats your favourite show of Fashion Week??

I'm already over winter now, the rain, wind and grey skies are simply depressing and my mood is at an all time low!! I'm 100% blaming the weather.
The High-street is now stocking their floors with beautiful Spring/Summer clothes and I'm lusting big time!!!

Pastels are set to be big Spring 14, with Fashion week run ways drowned with beautiful pastel pinks, lilacs and mint greens. Who can forget Burberry's candy striped finale back in September? Pastel lace seperates and embellished iconic trench coats. There is no doubt in my mind that these will be imitated on the high street.

Burberry Fashion Week 2013

While the midi-skirt has been a firm favourite and the ultimate transition piece. This spring it's older more sophisticated sister has come in to the limelight; The tea-length - a mix between the midi and maxi (How many more lengths of skirts are there??).
I've already seen the tea-length skirts in some of the high street stores, such as H&M and Topshop.
The ladylike hem can just be as modern as the midi or mini, just make sure you've got a bit of arm on show or a bit of shoulder.

Sheer fabrics are another trend which is coming back for Spring. Designers like Calvin Klein have used sheer fabrics in their run way shows. Sheer fabrics are the perfect way to show off a bit of flesh, whilst keeping it mysterious and not trashy!

Next black mesh skirt, £48, out now

The Bomber jacket is BACK, for this Spring. These jackets remind me of my childhood I use to be obsessed with them when I was younger, as I got older I thought they were a bit 'Chav'.
But they're back with bright and bold prints, just like this one from River Island.

Just a few of my fave trends for this Spring, let me know what your favourite pieces are.
Do you take inspiration from the catwalks?

Mulberry!

So for Christmas I was a very lucky girl and was given the handbag I have lusted over for months as a surprise.
The Mulberry Dorset Tote, fair to say I was speechless when I was presented with it!!! I'm a massive fan of Mulberry I love their chic and effortless designs. I love that there designs are not in your face and are really understated. The reason I choose this design is because it's not the most popular of their designs as we all know the Bayswater and the Alexa are and these are the designs that many people buy into or think about when you mention Mulberry.
I wanted something different and one which you wouldn't necessarily think was Mulberry, hence the Dorset Tote.
I have the medium size which is so spacious, this has now become my 'everyday' bag and it fits everything in perfectly for work. There is no compartments in this bag it's just one big space, with a purse attached inside, which I have put my keys in and lipstick.
The Dorset Tote has the classic Mulberry lock, this bag isn't structured and it's very slouchy, but it was what I was looking for!!! It's great for everyday use.
I'm in love!!!

November Obsessions

My November obsessions
Enjoy!!

The pumps are put away back into the shoe cupboard and the ankle boots are out. I'm obsessing over cute ankle boots at the moment & my cut out boots have been a statement piece when putting together my autumn outfits together, paired with ankle grazers, skater skirts or dresses these boots look chic especially with some cute girly frilly socks
*to keeps those toes snug*

Topshop

Faux fur headbands, I'm loving these gorgeous head pieces at the moment, they can make a outfit look causal or classy. Nothing says Hello winter than a faux fur headband.
 Major lusting right now!!!

Again Tartan has been a big statement in my autumn wardrobe, from scarves to trousers. Tartan has slapped autumn/winter round the face this season & I'm in L-O-V-E.
But lets make it clear OTT tartan is NOT ok!!!!

Of course my obsession with red lips has become even BIGGER now that it is the season of partaaaays
Time bring out glitz n glam
&
Smother them lips with delicious berry reds!!

Barbour- I'm a massive fan of Barbour and have been wearing their coats for the past 5 years. They have a classic English heritage look about them.
Right now I'm loving the Vintage Beadnell Wax Jacket.
It's on the Christmas list!!!

Ok I know this isn't a high street coat. But i'm in love with this Burberry trench, but at £1,895 Burberry can keep it until I win big!

only means one thing.................... Time to layer up!

Asos £90.00

Tartan
This classic highland print, can be over powering, but keep it simple

PINK
Pink is a strong colour for autumn/winter.
Ditch the neon and go for a understated dusky pink!!
There are no limits to how you wear pink this season.

It's that time again to channel the classic English gentleman look.
From blazers to trousers & investing in a
quilted jacket!!

Barbour.

Beanie Hats
I'm obsessing over beanies, everyone is wearing them.
They're cool and bang on trend with the grunge feel going on

Adios Summer

Living in the United Kingdom, we're not blessed with great weather. With are summers being a washout it's very rare we get to parade around in our shorts and flip flops.
Alas, this year we have been given a summer with highs of around 25-30 degrees (this is boiling to us English folk).
Anyway as October begins, the autumn nights close in, days getting shorter, nights getting longer. And although i'm already lusting over faux-furs, leathers and winter boots. There are some summer trends I don't want to say adios to!

Denim

Yes I know we love to wear denim all year round, but i'm going to be sad to put away my levi shorts. The only thing i'm glad about with the summer being over is not having to see girls with tiny denim shorts on with their bum hanging out!!!! Since when was this ok???
We are saying goodbye to the shorts and hello to the thick denim jacket lined with wool (mentioned in this post Here

JuJu Jellies

Love them or hate, JuJu Jellies have been one of many fashion highlights this year. Take me back to being 6-7 years old and rocking a pair of these. I was delighted when they became 'fashionable'. Of course I would only rock a black pair. But I seen so many girls rocking these at festivals, pool parties etc. I hope they make a come back next year (fingers crossed).

Pastel Nails

With the summer fading away, so do our beautiful pastel coloured nails. This summer I have constantly been wearing pastel colours from baby blues, mint greens to baby pink and beige!! This is trend i'm going to miss through the autumn/winter months!! But i'm excited to bring out the dark reds, greys, dark purples etc.
Until next year pastels!!

Crop tops

This summer has seen the comeback of the crop top. This 90s trend has come back with vengeance. Whether you've worn them with a high waisted skater/pencil/midi skirt or under a pair of overalls/dungarees.
