This Is Us

Hi Guys,
One Direction fever has hit me and my gal pals (To be honest I don't think it ever left!!)

So last night me and a couple of girlfriends went to watch the One Direction This Is Us movie!!! and OMG it was Incredible.
We laughed, sang along and maybe shed a tear or two. I was literally rockin out in the cinema!!!

There were young girls wearing 1D t-shirts and masks it was the battle of the directioners who had the best t-shirt or who had the most merchandise. As they glared at eachother, eyeing up the competition. It was brutal.

But onto the film, I was pleasantly surprised to see how down to earth and how 'normal' they were, this just made me love them even more. It made them seem real. I loved seeing the 'real' them and completely fell in love with Harry all over, I love how geeky and funny he is.
The film put into perspective how loved they are, seeing them perform to thousands of screaming girls every night on their tour, to thousands of girls following them when they're trying to shop!! And also seeing their parents, overjoyed for them but at the same time they feel like they're missing out on important stages of their sons transforming from teenagers to men!!!
It was breathtaking, seeing them perform in sold out arenas, as they camera panned over the audience I just sat there in awe and mouthed "that's incredible"

We see the lads comedic side, playing pranks on their security, we watch one of the security guards chase Zayn as he speeds off on his skateboard, we see Harry being carried around and trying to play fight with security. They showed us what prankster they really are.

I challenge anyone who says " I don't like One Direction" to go and see the film, and if you don't fall in love with them you have serious issues!!!

Favourite bit- For me it was 100% Harry rocking out in slow motion!!! That boy is a dream!!

Fair to say me and the girls are now so excited to see them next year. I feel incredibly lucky to be seeing them, I know how in-demand these tickets are and many Directioners would do anything for a ticket!!!

Review time

Hi guys,

As Promised I said I would do a review on my latest products I bought in my Mini beauty haul.

So I purchased the Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Quad Eyeshadows at £6.99 in the colour 023 Beauty Spells. I went out on the Sunday evening. I Loved this palette! It's got great pigmentation and the colours are gorgeous. If you're looking for a reasonably priced eye shadow and don't want to spend loads, then I highly recommend this!!! I do tend to purchase MAC eye shadows, but this is my new fave!! It even gives you tips on the back of the product and tells you where to place each colour on your lid!! I'm a big fan. Go get it girls!!!

Next item I purchased was Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Mono Eye Shadow at £4.49 in the colour 100 Glam Ice. I purchased this product simply to highlight my brow bone and the inside corners of my eyes. It does the job nothing to rave about, I did find I had to keep re-applying it, but then it's what I expected.

Thirdly I purchased Rimmel London (again) Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. at £4.99. I think I have finally found a primer I love!!! It claimed to keep my eye shadow waterproof and long lasting and it did just that!! I didn't need to touch up my eye shadow once!!! This is now a must have in my beauty bag. I highly recommend it!!!

Sorry it's short!! I'm a little busy at the moment!!!

Mini Drugstore Haul

Hey guys,
I've literally just got in from a mini shop in Superdrug so i thought I would share with ya what I purchased!!!!

So first up, I purchased a Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Quad Eyeshadows at £6.99 in the colour 023 Beauty Spells. I've been looking for a new colour palette for a while and I saw this and instantly loved the colours, they are great for a day time look and for a night out. I'm planning to wear it out tonight so will do a write up on it tomorrow!!!!

Next item I purchased was Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Mono Eye Shadow at £4.49 in the colour 100 Glam Ice. I watch a lot of make-up tutorials especially Tanya Burr, and saw she uses a white shadow in the corner on the eyes and to highlight the eyebrow. So this is the main reason why I've bought this.

Thirdly I purchased Rimmel London (again) Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. I've tried so many primers and can't seem to find one that I love, so I bought this and fingers-crossed it's good!! It claims that it maximises' the colour, makes colour waterproof. Let's hope it does the job!!! This retails at £4.99.

I also purchased Barry Ms'; Base coat, Top Coat and Hardener All In One, as I was running out and it's got everything in one bottle of polish so it's excellent that retails at £2.99.

I couldn't resist buying this One Directions Little Things nail polish, in the colour Fuschia Frenzy. I love the colour and will be trying it out tonight. It was defiantly a impulse buy, as i'm not one to wear bright pink nail polish!!! Retails at £3.00.

And finally I also bought some John Freida Sheer Blonder Lightening shampoo and conditioner. I'm naturally a dark blonder, but my hair is coloured. So I use these hair products to keep my colour, vibrant and in good condition and I really rate them. They retail at £5.89 each!!

On all my beauty products I have listed I will do a review on them, as the eye shadows and primer i have never used before so will let you know my views on them!!!

Off the market

Can your hear the sound of millions of young girls hearts breaking???…………….I can
Heart throb Liam Payne from  One Direction has revealed he’s a taken man!! and whilst the Directioners come to terms with what has happened, rumours have it that he’s head over heels with his new gal!
The hunk is said to be moving on from ex girlfriend Danielle Peazer (Goodbye Payzer ) with Sophia Smith. The pair met when attending the same school and have been seen partying together in London hot spot Funky Buddha. Last week Sophia joined Liams family and fellow 1D girlfriends Perry Edwards and Eleanor Calder out in LA to see her boy perform at the Staples Centre.
So what’s the verdict Directioners are we loving this new relationship???
Liam and Sophia
Also….
A rumoured new X factor romance has appeared between Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson and Union J’s George Shelley (I have a soft spot from George, being from Bristol and that). The romance came to the attention of the media when they were spotted at V Festival sharing a kiss in the VIP lounge and were seen getting very close with each other!!!
Again are we loving or hating the Little Mix/Union J relationship???
Let me know your views guys!!!!
Pucker up! New pictures show Jesy Nelson and George Shelley seeming to confirm romance rumours by leaning in for a tender kiss as they cuddled up in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge at this weekend's V Festival
They've got The X Factor: The Union J heartthrob looked utterly smitten as he gazed at the Little Mix singer affectionately

Melt proof your make-up

We all know summer and going out partying is a nightmare for our faces, when your half way through a night out and you go to check your make-up to see that your face has melted off.
I've put together some types to help you keep your make-up flawless and melt-proof.

Prime time
This is the most commonly skipped step in most peoples make-up routine!! A make up primer can make such a difference when it comes to lasting colour. Pop a pea sized amount on before you apply your foundation!!
My favourite Primer at the moment is..... Benefit Make-up Primer, retailing at £24.50. Which claimes to have 15 hours of colour!
Hold Fast Powder
During these summer months, you may not like applying heavy make-up, but using a loose translucent powder, could just become your new BBFL (Best Bud for life). Using a large brush, apply a light dusting over the top of your look, to stop it from budging!!
My Favourite and one I've mentioned loads of times in my blog is Rimmel London Match Perfection Loose Powder. I love this powder!!!!

The Right Base
For a melt proof make-up look, you need a good base! If you have oily skin you're best to choose a mattifying foundation to prevent your make-up from budging. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation is a great foundation for those with oily skin and is a great price at £5.99.
If you don't have oily skin, opt for a silicone- based foundation. This will provide a film across your skin and stop your make-up from slipping off when the weather is humid. My pick is the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation which retails at £21.50

Mascara Meltdown
Waterproof mascara is a must in this hot, sticky weather. Keep your lashes from running down your face with MAC Splash Proof Mascara (£14.00). It's great when worn on it own. It gives a strong waterproof seal.

Lushious, Long Lasting Lips
Just like your skin, your lips need some TLC to. So to get them prepped, by using Lushs Lip scrub in bubblegum (my fave) which retails at £5.50. Once you finished using the lip scrub add a bit of lip balm to give your lips a bit of moisture. For colour I'm loving the elf lip stain (£2.50). A lip stain is better in the summer if you want a natural long lasting colour.
