Insta Blur//Beauty

Once again I have caved into a hype which is going around us beauty bloggers, "What product is it?" I hear you cry. Well I gave in to the Body Shop Insta Blur hype haven't I? My fave primer Benefit Porefessional is slowly becoming empty *Boooo* and what a better excuse to go out and try this hyped up product. Loads of people have been raving about it especially Gabriella Lindely over at Velvetgh0st.

I'm afraid to say I have never tried any of the Body Shops make up products before, so this is a first for me and I'm excited. I'll probably do a review with the next few weeks, so keep an eye out on that.

Has any of you guys tried the Insta Blur?? If so how do you find it?

Benefit POREfessional

As you may or may not know, I'm a bit of a Benefit virgin, until recently (See here Bristol Blogger meet!!!)
I was lucky enough to be given some samples of the POREfessional and I have been converted.
I've never been big in the primer game and just used the MUA primer, which compared to POREfessional is pretty basic.

POREfessional claims to minimise pores and fine lines; I noticed instantly it dramatically minimised my pores and left my skin feeling super soft and my skin looked great with just the POREfessional on!!
Unlike my MUA primer, my foundation lasts all day, with just a touch up of powder in the afternoon to reduce the shine. You can use POREfessional as a base for your foundation or it can be used once you've applied your make-up.
Even after a long day out, my makeup still looks near perfect. My makeup is simply staying put, no sliding off, no colour fading, no settling into creases and lines of the face during the day!
I've found a new product to add to my make-up bag,
Permanently!!!

POREfessional comes in a retro looking tube, with a screw top. This looks perfect on anyone's dressing table.

The POREfessional retails at £25, I get it, it is pricey but I totally recommend it!!

What are your favourite primers?
Have you used POREfessional? and what do you think of it?

August Favourites

Hi Guys,
I'm going to do a blog on my fave beauty products throughout August. So here they are;

Rimmel Primer
I bought this Rimmel eye primer, with no expectations and wasn't expecting a lot from it. But the first time I tried it I fell in love and is defiantly a product I have been loving in August!! It claimed to keep your eye-shadow waterproof and intensify the colour of your eye-shadow and it does just that, as well as keeping your eye-shadow in place.

Tangle Teezer
My hair is a pain and especially when I have washed my hair, it constantly feel tangled and knotty, so I bought a Tangle Teezer it was £15.00 for a small plastic sparkly purple brush. But it's incredible. I didn't think I could get so excited over a brush!! I constantly use it now, even just to touch up my hair. Deffo worth a purchase. You won't regret it!!!

Maybeline The Falsies
This mascara has always been a fave of mine, so I've decided to add it into my August favourites. I love how this mascara makes your lashes look so full and amazing!

Real techniques Powder Brush
I've heard many talk about these brushes and noticed Tanya Burr uses them in her YouTube make-up tutorials. So my MAC powder brush was getting old, so I decided to splash out on a Real Techniques Powder brush. It is so much softer and better quality than my MAC brushes, decided i'm going to buy a whole new brush kit.

Review time

Hi guys,

As Promised I said I would do a review on my latest products I bought in my Mini beauty haul.

So I purchased the Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Quad Eyeshadows at £6.99 in the colour 023 Beauty Spells. I went out on the Sunday evening. I Loved this palette! It's got great pigmentation and the colours are gorgeous. If you're looking for a reasonably priced eye shadow and don't want to spend loads, then I highly recommend this!!! I do tend to purchase MAC eye shadows, but this is my new fave!! It even gives you tips on the back of the product and tells you where to place each colour on your lid!! I'm a big fan. Go get it girls!!!

Next item I purchased was Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Mono Eye Shadow at £4.49 in the colour 100 Glam Ice. I purchased this product simply to highlight my brow bone and the inside corners of my eyes. It does the job nothing to rave about, I did find I had to keep re-applying it, but then it's what I expected.

Thirdly I purchased Rimmel London (again) Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. at £4.99. I think I have finally found a primer I love!!! It claimed to keep my eye shadow waterproof and long lasting and it did just that!! I didn't need to touch up my eye shadow once!!! This is now a must have in my beauty bag. I highly recommend it!!!

Sorry it's short!! I'm a little busy at the moment!!!
